I founded Pro GK Academy in 2016 to give back to the community that raised me, the GK Union.

No matter what happened on the field: whether I stood on my head and kept a clean sheet or made a mistake that cost us the game, there was always a group of people who understood exactly what that felt like. Our position can be isolating, but that sense of community is what kept me grounded, and honestly, that is where my coaching philosophy was born.

I have always believed goalkeeping is bigger than football. The position teaches you how to handle pressure, adversity, failure, accountability, and resilience. Every match, every mistake, every big save mirrors real life in some way. It’s never about avoiding difficult moments, it’s about how you respond to them.

A huge part of my own journey came from coaches and mentors who gave me perspective when I needed it most. They didn’t just coach technique, they provided context, belief, and a sense of belonging. That stayed with me, and I knew I wanted to create the same environment for the next generation.

As Pro GK Academy grew, I noticed a gap in goalkeeper education online. A lot of content was entertaining, but very little explained the “why” behind the training. Drills were being copied without any understanding of their purpose or how they translated into real game situations. So I decided to approach things differently, building Pro GK Academy around education, intention, and community.
 
My goal has always been to make high level goalkeeper education accessible while creating a space where goalkeepers feel supported and inspired to keep improving.
